Su Yin is currently in-house counsel with the mining company, South32 Marketing Pte Ltd. Prior to joining South32, Su Yin a Partner at a leading international law firm where she specialized in dry shipping and logistics dispute resolution. She is also an expert in regulatory and compliance matters including issues from compliance with sanctions to compliance with the Hong Kong competition law. Through her work with the Young Professionals in Shipping Network (Hong Kong), Su Yin together with her co-founder Tabitha Logan have sought to provide a platform for junior and mid-level professionals within the maritime industry in Hong Kong to network and build relationships to further their careers. As a Partner, apart from legal work, Su Yin also focused on building a CSR program and a mentorship program within the firm. 

Su Yin has previously been ranked by Lloyd’s List as one of the top 10 maritime lawyers globally as well as a next generation in the maritime industry.
