Marc Perrin is in charge of the R&D Programme on LNG and International Development at ENGIE Lab CRIGEN (Center for Research and Innovation in Gas and New Energies). He is also the representative of the French Gas association (AFG) at the board of ERIG (European Research Institute for Gas and Energy Innovation).


After being graduated from School of Engineering (ENSAM) and with a PhD in Energy Sciences from « Ecole Centrale Paris », Marc Perrin joined the R&D Division of “Gaz de France”. After a 2 year assignment as “Visitor Scientist” at Sandia National Laboratories at Livermore, USA, he headed the basic research on natural gas combustion at Gaz de France for more than 10 years. Among his realizations, he was coordinator of a 3 ½ years long research project funded by the European Commission (“TOPDEC”). 


Marc has numerous years of complementary experience in Engineering of Rotating Machinery for Gas Transmission, Business Development of Cogeneration projects including Biomass Gasification along with managing a large R&D program in these fields.
