EVENT NOTICE

NEW DATES FOR ASIA PACIFIC MARITIME 2020

SINGAPORE, 7 February 2020 Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) 2020 will now take place from 30 September to 2 October 2020 at Marina Bay Sands, re-scheduled from the original 18 to 20 March 2020.

This decision follows serious consultations with the industry, pavilions, key exhibitors and visitor groups, and considers the disruption to travel plans in light of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) situation.

Michelle Lim, Managing Director, Reed Exhibitions
, said, “APM has been the leading maritime marketplace in Asia for over 15 editions and prides itself on delivering strong business outcomes for exhibitors and visitors. All 15 pavilions at APM as well as major exhibitors have expressed commitment to returning during the new dates (30 September to 2 October 2020) and to working closely with us to deliver an outstanding exhibition once again. We are also glad to have had continued support from Marina Bay Sands, which allowed us to secure the same award-winning venue during the new dates.”

Mr Andrew Phua, Director, Exhibitions and Conferences, Singapore Tourism Board
, said, “We understand the decision taken by Reed Exhibitions to postpone APM in light of the Novel Coronavirus situation. During this challenging period, the health and safety of locals, visitors and industry partners remain our priority. We are staying vigilant, strengthening our defences and monitoring the situation closely. STB stands firmly by our MICE industry, and we will work closely with organisers, industry stakeholders and relevant government agencies to support the continued success of APM 2020.”

Reed Exhibitions will extend necessary support to all exhibitors and visitors to facilitate a seamless transition to the new event dates. It will remain guided by advice from Singapore’s Ministry of Health and also by industry standards agreed upon by STB and the Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS).
