Mr Wu Shengwei joined DNV GL Maritime Advisory as Consultant in South East Asia, Pacific and India unit in 2012 after more than 8 years working in shipbuilding industry in Singapore. Wu Shengwei is supporting shipping companies, shipyards, gas suppliers, government agents in a wide range of shipping and technical consulting services covering regulatory compliance, design optimisation, energy efficiency improvement, GHG emission reduction, LNG as fuel market study,  alternative fuel solution, safety and risk assessment, management system enhancement, marine assets condition assessment & life extension, other technical assistance etc. in addition, he is supporting R&D and innovation within the areas on Decarbonisation in Shipping, as well as digitalisation initiatives in the region.Wu Shengwei is currently leading various cyber security projects including organizational assessment, shipboard assessment, OT/IT risk evaluation and cyber risk management improvement within the region. He has obtained extensive experience in EPCC and engineering management through 30 over newbuilding and conversion projects for various ship types prior joining DNV GL as a consultant. Wu Shengwei has a Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from University of Glasgow, and MSc in Maritime Studies from NTU Singapore.
